About this event
The weather has turned colder. I was afraid this would happen after such a nice February. With this in mind I am riding gravel in Indiana on Saturday. Bring your gravel or mountain bike but NOT your road bike. We will have 18.3 miles of gravel (48%) with a number of climbs (5). The ride has a total of 37.8 miles with 2,300 feet of climbing.
Please arrive at 10:30am so we can roll at 11:00am. This is a no drop ride and we will stay together. I do ask that you have been riding this year. There are no food or water stops. This is a very remote area. We will probably average 12 – 13 mph.
The attached picture is from my ride in November 2021 on Cole Rd. We will ride this road at mile 18 to 20.5.
