The Northern Kentucky Cluster covers Campbell, Kenton and Boone counties. Rides include both urban and rural routes. Enjoy some beautiful scenery and exhilarating hills. We have rides for all levels.

Monday No Brainer
When: Monday evenings 6:30 p.m.
Where: Vets Hall 830 Elm Street (Rt.8) Ludlow KY

This is a good ride for all levels.
1. No Brainer Challenge
Length: 14.8 miles each way, average speed 16-20 mph
DIFFICULTY RATING: Intermediate/Advanced
Speed groups: We will divide into two speed groups with the fastest group taking off first.
2. No Brainer Classic
Length: 10 miles each way, average speed 12-16 mph
DIFFICULTY RATING: Casual/Intermediate
This is an out and back ride with no turns on a lightly traveled scenic road along the Ohio river. Riders can go at their own pace. You can zoom with the fast crowd or kick back and enjoy the ride. The ride generally breaks up into groups of similar speeds.
Reser Tuesday Night Ride
When: Tuesdays at 6:15 p.m. (6:05 pm during early and late season)
Where: 648 Monmouth Street, Newport, KY, 41071, free parking on 7th street and in National Band & Tag parking lot
Length: 18 to 45 miles

DIFFICULTY RATING: Casual/Intermediate/Advanced/Elite
Speed groups: Four ride groups for different skill/intensity levels:
1. Tourismo - Coming in May. This group is no-drop. The pace is generally 12-14 mph on flat ground and slows up the hills. 18-24 miles.
2. Medium - This group is no-drop. Pace is generally 16-18 mph on flat ground and slower up hills. 20-28 miles
3. Fast - Faster and more hills. 98% no-drop. Average speed on flat ground 22-24 mph, 25-35 miles.
4. Race-Pace - Extremely fast, averages 25-30 mph when on flat ground. Bike handling skills a must, sometimes fun, but always a good workout. "Race-Pace" group is a "drop-ride," though 90% should be able to stay with group ;)
This ride is open to all road bikers including beginners. Only prerequisites being 1) you have a road bike 2) helmet and 3) lights. Different route every week. Two water bottles recommended. Pumps, changing rooms and bathroom available. Ride at your own risk, you are responsible for your own safety. Rain probably doesn't cancel unless it's actively raining at start time.

Wednesday Tour de NKY Rabbit Hash

15+ mph. avg. group: Advanced, NO DROP "Fun Group"
17+ mph. avg. group: Elite (dig deep and hang on) "Race Pace"
Preliminary route is 34 miles and passes through Rabbit Hash (Evil Twins, 338, down Waterloo, back in thru Rabbit Hash, up Big Bone). These are beautiful roads and traffic is generally fairly light. This is NOT a good ride for beginners. There are three category 4 climbs and two steep descents. There will be one or two speed groups depending on attendees.
