Meet/park in lot across from Harrison Jr. H.S. in Harrison, Ohio at Dry Fork & West Roads.
A different route every week. There will be at least one notable climb, and likely two or more climbs. Typical Banana Ride distances are 35-50 miles, depending on the group and the weather that day.
St. Margaret/St. John Church
There is a chance of rain this Wednesday so keep your eyes on the weather.
This week we ride counter clockwise - that‘s Norwood first.
On March 17tth we will switch to the Over The Hump format were the route will change each week.
The ride is the same route, reversing direction each week. Weather permitting it continues all through the winter months each Wednesday night. This is a single speed group ride. We always wait at logical intersections for riders to regroup. It’s a no drop ride. Average speeds will vary between 14-16 MPH. Expect flat road speeds to exceed 20+ at times. I’ll be asking for CCC Ride Waiver to be signed. Headlights, taillights and helmets are required. Lighting is critical because we will be riding in the dark.
If you ride ahead of the group then you’re on your own. Please arrive early. We will do our best to observe all established traffic regulations and ride safely. We regroup at strategic spots as needed. Potential wet weather or wet roads will cancel the ride. Parking in the church lot is permitted. We start and return to the church parking lot.
Beginning March 12th I will not be able to lead for at least 8 weeks. I will still post the rides. There will be an interim leader(s) to maintain an organized ride. If problems arise please let me know.
Join me at 5pm on Thursday 3/6 for a virtual club ride on Rouvy in Cincinnati!

Flat, fast, easy. Keep the group together and have fun.
Stick together for a ride avg of 21-23 mph.
Any B-B+ rider should be able stay with the group.
Speeds seem a tad faster on Rouvy than real life. no stop lights etc.

Depending on the amount of daylight we usually do about 30 miles, at the beginning and at the end of the season, and up to 50 miles in the peak of the season.
