Using the trail, travel to Yellow Springs with a lunch stop (on your own) in Xenia and dinner in Yellow Springs. I estimate getting to Yellow Springs by 1:30 pm which will allow time to walk a bit through the town before most shops close between 3 pm and 5pm.
There are bike racks in Yellow Springs so bring your locks! Dinner in Yellow Springs (on your own) before or after check in at the Springs Motel which is 15 minute ride from Yellow Springs. (see website URL below) The motel route requires a few residential roads to Route 68, walking across 68 to Brannum Road, and take advantage of this quiet road to the back entrance. There is a brewery and a Mexican restaurant within walking distance of the motel if you choose.
In the morning, leave as a group at 9:00 am or on your own with breakfast stop at McDonalds in Xenia.
